  • 1882 : "Incorporation" du collège de Pittsburg (= constitution officielle d'une association reconnue) dans l'Etat de Pennsylvanie (07.07.1882).
  • 1910 : Pétition pour changer de nom et aménager la charte initiale. Le Collège devient Université du Saint Esprit (09.06).
  • 1911 : Changement de nom, l'université du Saint-Esprit devient "Duquesne University of the Holy Ghost" (01.06.1911).
