L'acquisition d'HENNEBONT (les Haras) en 1856 et celle de CELLULE en 1857 obligent à chaque fois le Supérieur général à entreprendre des démarches officielles qui manifestent l'existence légale de la congrégation.
Les Haras d'HENNEBONT (ancienne abbaye de la Joye) seront échangés en 1857 contre ceux de LANGONNET (Abbaye).
Le 29.12.1857, Napoléon signe le décret autorisant la congrégation à établir un petit séminaire colonial à CELLULE.
